ACTS . . . Academic Accreditation

Accredited Membership

TWU is a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) and the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU). ACTS has been accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS) since 1997. The ATS Commission on Accrediting voted to reaffirm ACTS accreditation for a period of 10 years at their May 2002 meeting. In 2011-2012 ACTS undertook a routine but comprehensive self-study, resulting in a vote by the ATS Commission to renew the Consortium’s accreditation through till Spring 2022.

ACTS currently offers 8 degree programs that are approved by ATS:

• Master of Divinity
• Master of Arts in Christian Studies
• Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy
• Master of Theological Studies
• Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural Ministries
• Master of Applied Liniguistics and Exegesis
• Master or Theology
